"Dan was a tangible gift of God to me and my husband who has dementia. A huge oak tree fell over in our back yard and DOT had to clean some of it up. We were left with the rest. I called five tree services and not only was Dan the only one that called us back, he came by the very next day and had our yard cleared the following day! As a wife who now has to take care of the things my husband used to, Dan was honorable, trustworthy and I felt very comfortable that he would not take advantage of the situation. Not only did he NOT take advantage, He personally took care of us and did far more then he ever should have for the fee he charged. This man knows trees! "Can I give 6 stars? What else can I say, except Dan turned a very unsettling incident into a wonderful experience. During a storm we had a very large white pine (~60 ft. tall) crack at the base and lean towards the corner of our house, only being held up by another tree of similar size beside it. Not to mention this whole section of the yard is our children's primary play area, which really gave my wife and I an uneasy feeling. I was lucky enough to be referred to Dan, who is extremely nice and a genuinely good human being. Due to the danger factor (Dan has 7 grand-kids of his own) I think we made the cut for "emergency tree removal," and a couple of days later Dan and one of his guys came out on time as promised to help us out. They could tell I was interested in the tree removal process, so they were very inclusive of a novice like me about how they planned to attack the tree, where they would cut and pull it, and ultimately where the tree would fall (and surprisingly that spot didn't include the kids' playhouse, my back deck, or my fire pit). I retreated to the balcony with a cup of coffee to watch, and about 20 minutes later the tree was dropped with a surgeon's precision in the exact spot where Dan had planned it. And then in about another 20 minutes, the limbs had been sawed off, the tree trunk sectioned up, and the "tree-taming Caterpillar" had hauled everything away. This whole process literally took less than one hour, which left time for a pleasant conversation and the beginning of my newfound appreciation for the artistry of arboriculture. I can't imagine having a better experience than the one I just had, and in case you are wondering I felt the price for my job was very fair and I didn't even mind writing the check!"

"We wanted a real Arborist to trim our very large oak trees. Dan and his crew knew what they were doing. They were very easy to work with and a fun group of professionals. They arrived to work 15 minutes early and were done with the job by the afternoon. All tree trimmings were put through a chipper and they, as requested, put the mulch in a low spot in our pasture."
