This Membership Is For Homes
The membership is designed for residential properties — homeowners who want their trees watched and kept healthy. Commercial properties aren't served by the membership. For HOAs, property managers, schools, churches and businesses we set up year-round property contracts instead — built around your sites, your schedule and your board's paperwork.
Your Membership Builds Credit
Everything you pay above ten dollars a month becomes credit toward tree work on your property. It builds up month after month, and when work is needed that balance comes off the price of the job.
Ten dollars a month covers running the membership itself — scheduling your visits, the monthly inspection by an ISA Certified Arborist, and the record we keep on your trees. Everything else you pay is yours, held as credit.
It builds only on months you pay. A month that is missed, refunded, or fails to charge does not accrue credit.
It lasts five years. Each month's credit expires five years after the month it accrued, so the oldest credit is always used first.
It applies to tree work from Stumps By Dan. Removal, trimming, stump grinding, fertilization and the rest of our work. It cannot be put toward the membership fee itself, used with another company, or exchanged for cash.
You can see your balance whenever you want. Your current credit balance is on your estimates, and we send it to you in writing every month.
If you cancel, accrued credit is forfeited. Canceling your membership ends the credit balance along with it. Worth knowing before you sign up, and worth remembering before you cancel.

More Than 100 Trees Or More Than 10 Acres?
Those properties don't fit a grid, and we won't pretend they do. We'll come out, walk it properly, and price it for what it actually is.
What A Membership Month Looks Like
The membership is a monitoring program, not a discount card. Here is the actual cycle.
1. Assessment And Price
We count the significant trees and measure the property, then price it on what is actually there. From $25/month for up to 1.5 acres and 25 significant trees.
2. A Monthly Walk
Someone walks the property every month and looks at the trees properly — crown, trunk, root flare and what has changed since last time.
3. You Get Told
What was found, what it means and what it needs. Small problems get flagged while they are still small, which is the entire point.
4. Credit Builds
Everything you pay above the $10 monthly administration fee is credited toward future tree work with us. It accumulates whether you use it this year or not.
Why Monitoring Beats Reacting
Failures Announce Themselves
Most trees that come down gave signs first — a thinning crown, a fungal conk, soil lifting at the base. Nobody was looking at the right time.
Planned Work Costs Less
The same tree costs a fraction to deal with on a Tuesday morning as it does at 2am with a crane on emergency rates and a roof already open.
A Record Over Time
Twelve looks a year builds a history. A recommendation to keep or remove a tree then rests on how it has changed, not on one visit on one day.
The Credit Is Real Money
Between $180 and $540 a year set aside against work you will eventually need, depending on your property. It is not a coupon and it does not expire monthly.
Fair Questions About It
What counts as a significant tree?
A mature tree large enough that its failure could damage something — a structure, a vehicle, a line, or a person. Saplings and ornamental shrubs don't count.
Do I have to be home for inspections?
No. We walk the property and send you the findings. If we need access to a locked area we'll arrange it with you first.
Is tree work included in the membership?
No — the membership covers monthly inspection and documentation. Actual tree work is quoted separately, with your accrued credit applied against it.
What if you find something urgent?
We tell you immediately rather than waiting for a report. If it's a hazard, that's a phone call the same day.
Can I cancel?
Yes — monthly, cancel any time. No minimum term and no cancellation fee. Note that any credit you have accrued is forfeited when you cancel, so it is worth using it first.
What if my tree count changes?
Tell us and we'll re-tier you. Removing trees can move you down a bracket as well as up.
Is this available for commercial property?
No — the membership is for homes. Commercial sites, HOAs and multi-property portfolios are handled through year-round contracts, which are priced and scheduled differently.
