Most of the shoreline drops hard from the house to the water. That decides everything: what can be driven down, where wood can be landed, and whether a tree comes down in sections or on a crane.
Bulkheads, Docks And Boat Lifts
There is usually something expensive directly under the tree. We rig over it rather than near it, and we would rather spend an extra hour than replace a dock.
Wind Straight Off The Water
Shoreline trees take loading the ones two streets inland never see. The pines and willow oaks that fail here almost always leaned, cracked or lifted soil first — which is visible before it happens if somebody looks.

Can you get equipment down to the water?
Sometimes. Where we cannot drive it we rig or crane instead. We look at the access before quoting rather than discovering it on the day.
Can you take a tree out without touching the dock?
That is the normal job here, and it is what the crane is for. Tell us what is underneath when you call.
Is the estimate free?
Yes, and somebody comes and looks. Lakefront work is not quotable from a photo.
Are you insured?
Fully insured, certificates available before work starts.
